Advanced Medication Awareness Training
Our Advanced Medication Awareness training helps equip social care workers with the knowledge and skills required to safely administer and monitor medication.
Through our training, you will learn to understand your roles and responsibilities when giving medication, describe how medicines are administered, understand the need for recording the giving of medication, describe how medication should be disposed of, understand what causes medication errors and how to reduce the risk, and describe possible side effects of medication and what to do.

During our training we will cover control drugs, legislation relating to the storing, administering and recording of control drugs

Completion of this course will enable your team to be confident in the understanding of their roles and responsibilities, administration of medication and recording responsibilities .
Safeguarding Children Training
At Cole Training Solutions, we are dedicated to providing high quality training to those who work in social care.

Our courses help to ensure that social care professionals have the knowledge, skills and confidence to identify and respond appropriately to different forms of abuse.

Our training covers a range of topics, including the relevance of parental, family and carer factors such as domestic abuse, mental and physical ill-health, substance and alcohol misuse, and how to seek appropriate advice and report concerns.

Mental Health Awareness Training
Our Mental Health Awareness Training provides an understanding of the different mental health problems and the principle of parity of esteem in relation to mental health.
It also provides knowledge of where to find additional information and support for people who have mental health problems, and how health and social care staff can improve their interaction with people who have mental health problems.
This training is designed to help equip staff with the necessary skills to provide the best care for those with mental health difficulties.

Anti Ligature Training
Cole Training Solutions provides comprehensive social care training services to help ensure safety in the workplace for both service users and staff teams.
Our courses focus on the minimising of risks, assessing the environments and supporting and managing a ligature event.
We also provide training on what the law requires of businesses regarding ligature and self harming, the importance of risk assessments, and how to prevent or control these incidents in the workplace.
Additionally, our training covers the type of detection and warning systems which should be in place, and how to ensure your emergency safety plans remain effective at all times, and how to create and implement effective emergency procedures.
Food Hygiene Training
Cole Training Solutions provides a comprehensive social care training course that is designed to teach participants how to handle food safely and correctly.
The course covers the legal requirements of food hygiene and safety, as well as the causes of food poisoning and the importance of good personal hygiene.

Participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare food safely and maintain correct food hygiene practices at home and in the workplace.
