Home Set Ups 

This is a frequently used service for new providers ensuring they are Ofsted ready.

Fees are between £400 - £600  + VAT a day consultancy fee for home set up services and pre Ofsted registration visits.

As a guide preparing, providing and setting up your policy & procedures, staff files, young person files and activity / home risk assessments normally takes eight to ten days. 

 

Home set up plan

  • Initial site visit to look at the suitability of the home with an action plan £400.00 - £600 + VAT a day. 

  • Consultant visit to discuss your requirements prior to a pre Ofsted registration visit. £400.00 - £600 + VAT a day. 

  • The pre Ofsted registration (ensure you are ready for Ofsted) visits are over two days £400.00 - £600 + VAT a day. 

  • Supplying bespoke policy and procedure package. £1,600.00.+ VAT

  • Staff Induction Booklet. £150.00 + VAT

  • Six weekly supervisions for RI and Registered Managers £150.00 + VAT first session and £100.00  + VAT for the second session in the same visit, plus travel.

  • Manager's mentoring sessions £250 for 1/2 day & £400 + VAT a day & travel.

  • Consulting daily rates from £250 for 1/2 day & £400 - £600 for one Consultant plus a day travel

  • Pre Ofsted Health checks visits are over two & 1/2 days with one Consultant -  from £400 + VAT a day plus travel.

Additional service fees 

 

  • Supervisions for Managers, RI and Directors - £150 + VAT for one-and-a-half-hour consultation and a detailed report for your records, plus travel cost. 

  • Independent visitor service for the young person once a month. This consists of a one hour to one and a half hour visit with the young people and a written report - £150 + VAT for one hour consultation and a detailed report for your records, plus travel cost.

  • Mentor & Coach New Managers This can be done on a package over 7 or 12 full days which can be spread over 5-6 weeks or 5-6 months. Charged at a consultant rate from £250 for 1/2 day & £400 + VAT per day, plus travel expenses.

  • Homes Mini Audit covering the past 6 months. From £400.00 + VAT per day plus 1/2 day write up from £250.00 (2 bed home) dependant on the size of the home, plus travel expenses 

  • Consulting service on setting up all children's homes systems and paperwork for new service or to revisit existing homes. From £400.00 - £600 + VAT per day, plus travel expenses

  • Safer recruitment process support Assistance with choosing the right candidate, as part of the shortlisting and interview panel. From £400.00 + VAT per day, plus travel expenses for 1 consultant

  • Management Investigations & Independent Investigations from £450 + VAT a day, plus travel expenses 

  • Training Fees differ depending on the training required, delivery schedule, candidates numbers

  • Inspection Report Responses £500

  • Action Plans £300 - £400 (depending on severity of report/ concern)

We have been providing social care training and consultancy to individuals, organizations and businesses. Our training programs cover a range of issues from safeguarding and the Mental Capacity Act to motivational interviewing and leadership. We also provide bespoke consultancy services tailored to the unique needs of each of our clients. Our approach to training and consultancy is designed to be interactive and practical; we believe that learning should be a positive experience.
